  • Altered Spaces and Faux Landscapes   This work is part of a current project on urban spaces and faux landscapes that are either deliberately created or appear randomly. Some of these works include triptychs and diptychs that hint at commonalities between the images. This work juxtaposes an altered space, a faux landscape, and an architectural motif. Each image within the work contains a geometric element. The images are connected by color, via a hose, plants, and grass. The circle of grass m…

Some of these works include triptychs and diptychs that address relationships and comparisons between the images. This triptych pairs three faux landscapes. The center panel, in particular, shows what appears to be a landscape with mountains, obscuring scale somewhat.

  •   The triptych shows at first glance three different images of a plate.  The first image is of the whole plate, the second image shows scattered pieces of the plate, and finally the third image shows the broken plate's pieces rearranged to loosely form the plate shape again. We can see that this appears to be a Chinese plate. It could be a valuable piece or a regular everyday dinner plate. In mz.aw.mc. - Broken and Reassembled-2015; we don't know if the plate has been intentionally or accident…
