I grew up in a very artistic family, and along with many other creative outlets, I used to amuse myself by fashioning figures out of salt & flour clay. One day I happened across a book by Maureen Carlson and the transition to polymer clay was a done deal. That was nearly 20 years ago, and I have barely put it down since. I appreciate the incredible diversity of this medium and am constantly trying out new ideas. Over time, I have developed a theme of whimsical pieces with a uniquely steampunk feel that is all my own.
