Colors are inspired by Paul Klee.  This was published as a project article in June/July 2006 Beadwork.&lt;br/&gt;</description>

Mixed in with shells from Kauai and Florida is a piece of beaded pen shell, a sea urchin, and two starfish.  The starfish are available as a kit from Buy The Kit.&lt;br/&gt;</description>

      <title>State Fair Food : Giant pickle on a stick</title>

Before the next State Fair, I wrapped green stretch velour over the stick and stitched it down for a form, and used right angle weave to cover it.  This won a ribbon in the 2005 State Fair.&lt;br/&gt;</description>

      <title>Painted Vessel</title>

Beads used are Czech, Italian, Japanese, and French. The shape is inspired by amphoras at the Minneapolis Institute of the Arts, and the colors by a painting at the Walker Art Center. &lt;br/&gt;</description>
