Tone Poem for Chamber Orchestra; 13 1/2" 6 of 1 is a single movement work based upon "The Prisoner," a seventeen episode BBC television show that aired during 1967. The work's six sections are based upon various themes from the series. The work relates a narrative based upon the ability to retain one's individuality within a larger society. Premiered by University of Texas-Austin at the GAMMA-UT Annual Conference in March 2003.
