The Baptism of Jesus

Saint Patrick's Church Dickinson, North Dakota 7' wide x 15' high Reproduction, this is my version of a C. Bloch painting. Saint Patrick's in Dickinson North Dakota commissioned two murals. The first is of their namesake Saint Patrick, the second is the one you see here. "The Baptism of Jesus" serves as a fitting addition to the churches baptismal area. Both were painted on canvas in my studio. Then, I traveled to Dickinson and installed the paintings adding a decorative stencil border around both murals (not shown).

Saint Joseph Entering Heaven

25' wide x 15' high (approx.) This scene depicts Joseph entering Heaven. Joseph is surrounded by God, Jesus, Mary, the Holy Spirit, and a host of angels. Holding his staff that sprouted lilies as a sign to Mary that he was to be her husband. Notice that Joseph's hand that is pointing down. He is pointing at the tabernacle as a reminder of it's importance. The design of this mural was inspired by an old print that the priest had. The figures where painted on canvas in my studio. An assistant and I installed the canvases on location. Then we painted the background of sky, clouds, and the center of the arch directly on the wall. Adoration of the Crucified Christ

30' wide x 18' high (approx.) The idea behind this scene is the unseen at the Crucifixion. With the angels looking on in mourning and preparing for the arrival of their Lord Jesus. The Holy Spirit is shining it's guiding light, and God is blessing not only Jesus but all of us as he symbolically holds the world. Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit with Olive Branch Border 36" Circle Painted on canvas in my studio. This was designed to fit inside the ring of molding on the ceiling of the church. Crucifixion
