A Murder is Announced

I played Philippa Haymes, murder suspect and liar (like every other character). I had a great time working with the cast of this play, particularly Meri Golden, who played Leticia Blacklock. Meri directed me in "South Pacific" and "The Heiress" at Inver Hills Community College when I was 16 and 17, so it was a lot of fun to reconnect with her!

King and I

I played one of the wives in Rodgers & Hammerstein's King and I with Morris Park Players directed by Stephen Houtz. This production used a framing device so we were modern dress for about half of the performance which made getting ready really quick and easy. We also did not use the broken English used by the Siamese in the original script, which I think was a wonderful decision. I was happy to be a part of a production that approached this dated script in the way we did.

Durango Independent Film Festival

The first week in March "Memorizing Dates," a short film I acted in awhile back, will be gracing the screens at the Durango Independent Film Festival in the picturesque ski town of Durango, CO! Showings at the Abbey Theatre, Thursday Feb. 28 at 9 pm, Saturday March 1 at 9 am.
