This bed is a monster. The headboard is over six feet tall and is sized to fit a king size bed. 2" x 2" steel (nice curves, huh?) and .25" plasma cut plate steel. Big and heavy - actually it was too big to fit up the clients' stairs in their house...hmm...'Do you really like that window?' I ended having to cut the headboard in half horizontally and then coming up with a system that didn't look like an afterthought. I won't get into the solution here but if you are really that interested email me and we can get into it.

A note about the WONKA. When the couple first approached me about this, they said the wanted a 'wonka' bed. So I came back with some ideas a couple weeks later - all fun and crazy - all sans actually saying "WONKA" They said No, no, no. We actually want it to say WONKA. And we want WONKA really big.

Oh. Ok. The world is full of interesting people. Some push, others pull. This couple definately pulled.
