What She's Really Thinking
Presented by List of Names
What She's Really Thinking is a set of two theatrical pieces: an image-based, physical performance piece, and a character-driven play by Lanford Wilson.
Carry-All
She has arrived. She has brought her suitcase. Mary Poppins would be jealous.
The Great Nebula in Orion
In an unexpected and inconvenient reunion, old friends chase big black truths and little white lies down a bottle of brandy.
"A real nice fringe surprise. The Lanford Wilson script is wonderful -- poetic and complicated and full of layers. The acting is sharp -- especially Emily Gunyou. The director has an impressive handle of the material. The pacing and staging is simple but great. And the more avant-garde performance piece at the end is like a delightful desert. This is the type of thing I want to see at the Fringe. Artists whose work I don't know doing unexpected things - both with a classic playwright and/or with something that defies description. I like how they ambitiously decided to do both."
