Each of these soldiers were painted to match the 5 flavors in a bag of skittles and accompanied by an altar with a bowl of skittles people could consume as they viewed the installation. It was placed in the hallway of the Humanities Department on the University of Minnesota, Duluth campus. The concept depicts the soldier as a consumable item, not only in War, but also on the homefront with TV dramas, movies, and media coverage.
