This installation is the result of a collaboration with Robin Cotton. Large panels, one plexi the other wood, have carved text relating to the idea of “Heaven”. Slide projectors full of found slides depicting family life, travel and nature illuminate the text on the wood panel. Words are revealed and darkened depending on the light placement in the slides at any given moment. The red panel bears the name of the installation with a loop of Super-8 film of birds over the ocean.
