A Staged Reading with Sound

Presented by the Altered Esthetics Gallery for the Minneapolis Art-A-Whirl 2006

Our staged reading of 10-Speed Revolution at the Altered Esthetics gallery's BIKE ART exhibit was a great opportunity to bring the show to a new audience and participate in this celebration of art and bicycles in Northeast Minneapolis.

Also on display were Cesia Kearns' original costume sketches for Anna, Max, and Jake - ink and pencil sketches drawn over a newsprint collage of urban themes. These images embody the frivolous menace that made 10-Speed Revolution such a success. They are on display at the Altered Esthetics gallery until June 28th.

Performed by Michael Curran-Dorsano, Becka M. Ollmann, Tim Reddy, Ben Thietje. With Stage Directions read by John Heimbuch and costumes by Cesia Kearns.

Featuring music by A-Bomb Nation, Codger, Curtiss A, Dillinger Four, the Divebomb Honey, Electropolis, the Framed, the Pistons, Plate-O-Shrimp, the Rose Ensemble, the Soviettes, the Spooks, the Subversives, and the Suicide Commandos.
