The 767’ S/S Armco of Oglebay Norton Marine Transportation passes through the Duluth Ship Canal in Duluth, MN on the morning of July 27, 2001. Momentarily, the vessel will be under the Aerial Lift Bridge and then be on it’s way to the Cutler-Magner Dock in Superior, WI to unload limestone. After the unload, the Armco will sail to Cliffs Northshore Mining in Silver Bay, MN, located on the north shore of Lake Superior, to load taconite pellets.
