pen, pencil and colored pencil on paper
I have always been a collector. As long as I can remember, selected trinkets and social souvenirs from my daily activities and travels have found a home with me; some more traditional in nature, others perhaps products of the occasional dumpster dive. Regardless of the forms these objects take, they all share a common trait; they encapsulate and physically represent a moment in time. Their integration into my revolving collection of objects and experiences allows me to re-create them in drawings or use them physically in installations. In a world that is becoming more and more connected, weaving information, imagery, and experience in and out of our lives, I am interested in how the relevant moments in my life overlap and form connections with others who are living in the same system.
