I'd been working with the intricate details found in insect bodies in some large scale woodcuts and etchings. I finally had a chance to create a three dimensional beetle. During the bronze pour, three of the legs did not pour and I had to construct and attatch them by hand. It was a great experience working with bronze and the learning the amazing forgiveness it has.
