'Skimbleshanks' knitted/felted tote depicts an orange tabby cat from T.S. Eliot's poetry "Old Possom's Book of Practical Cats" & Andrew Lloyd Webber's muscial 'Cats'. Beads are knitted/felted into the lower top edge & depict cat's eyes & the various novelty yarns add to the orange tabby colors, furriness & softness of a cat. An I Cord double handle pulls through for one long over the shoulder handle. He lives on the night mail train & is a friendly uncle to all the cats. In the musical 'Cats' he is loved by all of the Jellicles & they build him a simple, creative, adorable train onstage & he always has a cheerful face. Lovely orange tabby bag. (my Rafet-ne trop bag-African Wolof) The interior base is tabby print fabric & adds to the fun of this bag. Enjoy!
