"Fete de la Musique"is a celebration of the kiosque a musique,a bandstand in Jardin du Mail,a park across the street from my parents 'house in France.I remember listening concerts in the park .The geraniums surroundind the kiosque,the white lights above it,its elegant nineteenth century architecture of green wrought iron columns and a ceiling that reminds me of a spider'web enhance the warmth and charm of the music .Memories of these forms and sounds urged me to weave this tapestry.
