One of the wintry phenomenon that we often take for granted, is the exposure of things normally hidden away in the woods during warmer times of the year. When the trees are fully leafed out, those scenes are effectively camouflaged and invisible to us. Winter provides almost a magical transition of the landscape as those new perspectives become visible in the snow. Capturing this image on canvas of the view across our road, provides quite a different reality than the one we more readily experience during the summer months.
