This painting has very clear values and reads well from a distance.
Do you see the hot pink color peeking through from the undercoating? It adds real punch to the painting.
Notice how everything color wize seems to fit together well? A limited palette was used and sometimes that makes for some unusual color combinations that still work.

This little painting, "Park Trails", seems to be award winning material. It was juried into the "Essential Art" show (2007) St. Cloud and recieved an award
and a Blue ribbon in the spring from the Artist del Norte Member Show.
It was also juried into the 2007 MN State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition and received 3rd Place Ribbon in watercolor.
