Progressive public access chef, Mero Cocinero Karimi, cooks up revolutionary recipes LIVE in his quest to save the world, spread culinary consciousness and create social change one kitchen at a time. He is joined by his Comrade Cocinero Castro and an all-star community cast for his new series Compromise cannot clear the palate of war. The only problem is that he has become a target of the government and they are trying to make him fair and balanced any way they can.

“Cooking con Karimi and the Quest for the Secret Ingredient” is a multi-disciplinary performance, but Mero, Castro and their comrades invite you to a dinner. Or should we say – a whole night fare!

And, yes, Cooking con Karimi is a “live studio audience” in this interactive performance smorgasbord where Mero Cocinero Karimi with the help of his colorful community comrades tries to discover the secret ingredient, that will keep his detractors from ruining the hearts and stomachs of the community.
