Statement

• “Wisteria” is an oval wicker tray measuring 24”(L) X 16”(W) X 2 1/2”(H).
• Wicker is a generic term for “woven”. This wicker tray is woven with round reed, which is the pith of rattan.
• There is a 1/4” glass insert with a pencil cut. The glass not only protects the painting, but also, allows you to functionally serve your guests.
• My trays offer multiple uses: serving, decorative, altars etc.
• The Japanese painting technique is Nihonga. Nihonga is a two-brush painting method used when painting surfaces that are hard, smooth and less absorbent than paper and silk. The first brush carries the color and the second brush carries water with which the artist blends the pigment.
• The cost of the wicker tray with its glass insert is $415
The cost of shipping and handling is additional.
