On Full Moon Fever 2005 performance at Zenon Block E Scholarship Concert

Dance pioneer Doris Humphrey once famously remarked that "ALL dances are too long." But there are exceptions. The exception last night was "Full Moon Fever," choreographed by Cathy Wright, who teaches dance at Apple Valley HS. This striking and succinct quintet wore its own face, had its own tone, made its own reality, and when it had done what it set out to do, it found an ending and left us blasted. John Munger, Dance USA
