Statement

My photography style and interest involves neutral reportage with pre-intellectual intuitive confidence in the lucky accident. A documentary approach directed toward personal ends that involves photographing ordinary life with a minimum of theorizing, narrative and controlled containment. An apolitical casual imagemaking that has to do with capturing irony, formal wit, Surrealist inconfruity and visual energy in the commonplace, creating a contrast between the subject and the image.
