Wicked Sister Dance Theatre was established in 2002 to support the creation, development and production of new choreography drawing from artistic forms as far ranging as aerial acrobatics, modern dance, Japanese butoh, visual design and theatre. Productions of Summer Splash at Red Eye (2003), Phantasmagoria at Intermedia Arts (2005) and Musclescapes at Red Eye (2005), Acromancia at Old Arizona (2006) and Lurid Thoughts & Lucid Visions at Red Eye (2007), Inhabiting Earth at Red Eye (2009) featuring new works by Artistic Director David DeBlieck as well as WSDT Artistic Associates and guest artists. Our production of Acrobatic Café which has been presented by Patrick’s Cabaret for three consecutive years (2006-2008) has provided a stage for over 30 emerging choreographic artists working on physical structures, as well as mentorship from WSDT core artists.

Denise Armstead's DAdance will present "In between, between places" performed by Denise Armstead, Brian Evans, Cade Holmseth, & Sharon Picasso-Merrick. The dance is an ethereal approach to the coexistance of other simultaneously existing energies that we cannot see but feel.

Julie Warder is a new choreographer who has danced since the 1980’s for artists such as Myron Johnson and Lewis Whitlock, and danced for the companies’, Uchawi African Dancer’s and LEJA Dance Theater of Philadelphia, PA.

Julie has brought uplifting and inspiring pieces from local artist Patience Ferguson’s, “I Surrender All”, and Ava and Noelle’s, “Always There”, to her fun yet thought provoking, “U Don’t C Me” performed at The Ritz Theater’s 1rst Annual Choreographer’s Evening in 2008.

Julie continues work with her emerging company, “Speak Life Dance Theater”, in which works strive to impact viewer’s in a powerful, culturally diverse, spiritual and as in this years, “Jammin”, entertaining way.

a musical journey through the social dances of the 20th century served up fresh in a multimedia romp through American pop culture

Dancers Christopher Yaeger, Blanka Brichta, Shannon Butler, Jan Morse, Zack Holman, and Lara Sands present Song and Dance that reflect American cultural trends and expressions from the last 100 years
