I have not slaughtered an animal since arriving in America; there's no need to. I buy my meat packaged in styrofoam containers wrapped in plastic. There are no open sewage systems and finding decomposing animals is a challenge. I still pick at the occasional scab because I refuse to use skin colored bandages.
