This piece is the first in a new body of work I am producing. Each piece in the series is inspired by ads from the 50s and 60s, and focuses on a particular issue that I've had to deal with in my career as an artist. This painting focuses on the lack of affordable housing for artists. 24" x 48", mixed media on canvas, 2007.
