Lowertown artist Joshua Cunningham found his muse in a restored floodplain forest. Cunningham set up his easel in St. Paul's Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary to create this piece, "Making a Park." This work, and 17 other plein air paintings of the park, were unveiled Wednesday at a public reception in the office of Mayor Chris Coleman. The exhibit will be open to the public during regular business hours in the mayor's office, Room 390 at City Hall, until Dec. 21.
