Statement

This pin is made from polymer clay and brass. It is a style I call “Minature Abstract Paintings”. The “painting” was created using scrape polymer clay, inks and mica powders. It is encased in a brass “picture frame”. The pin back is centered diagonally so that the pin can be worn in any direction – square or diagonal. Sections of the frame were left empty. This allows the clothing to show through the frame changing the appearance of the pin on each outfit it is worn on. The pin is protected by a coating of matt acrylic varnish.

The pin measures 1 ½” square and is 1/8” thick.
