Statement

2008-09 Ballet of the Dolls Season opening performance of BORN TO BE ALIVE October 23 through November 2nd. Set against the throbbing beat and bumping hips of a nightclub, the show unveils that “Saturday Night Fever” was only one man’s story; there were many more tales to be told of lonely people in the middle of a crazy dance floor, some crying from a broken heart, some trying desperately to gain the interest of a handsome man across the room, others seemingly without a care in the world. Through disco, from its birth to its death, Ballet of the Dolls explores the many, many secrets and stories behind this club’s unmarked doors.

All performances will be at the Ritz Theater, 345 13th Ave Northeast. October 23 through November 2nd.
