DENISE ARMSTEAD presents "Whoa Men!" A raw, sexy, gritty, Americana look at male and female interplay.

MARCIANO SILVA DOS SANTOS presents "Chão." Performed by Marciano Silva dos Santos, Cade Holmseth, Brian Evans, and Kency Roberson.

Marciano talks about the construction of "Chão." A simple word of different meaning. But I want to speak about the construction of the movement of the body. The body has two arms, two legs, a neck, a head and a torso. What to do with all these fragments? Try the variety of the fragmented movements that the body can make. Then come to the word construction. My goal is to show this construction, to perceive the dance as expression, and to create an intimate relationship between the body and the floor.

MARI KLINE'S INKLINE DANCE is producing a unique dance experience. "Dissonance" explores vigorous physicality by weaving an intricate blend of modern, ballet, and jazz movements into a dynamic synergy of dance. The choreographer and Artistic Director, Mari Kline (UW-River Falls Dance Instructor), investigates the dissonance in her life through dance. Tension, friction, and conflict drive Kline’s inventive compositions. Inspiration for these works also comes from the diverse musical pieces highlighted throughout the show. “Quiescently Moving” is accompanied by live guitar. Several pieces incorporate projections to enhance the visual presentation. “Who is Yet to Come,” originally premiered at the American College Dance Festival in Iowa City, IA and at the UW – River Falls Dance Theatre Concert 2006, has been re-staged for this event. The eclectic selection of dance compositions vary from athletic to graceful. DIssonance is a perceptive confrontation of life’s quandaries. Come and experience it!

LAURA HOLWAY'S DANCES FOR DULL MOMENTS will be presenting "They look really cute together, so I hope it works out for them", a newly created tribute to Valentine's Day. Laura's work has been a part of 9 x 22, John Munger's Rabbit Show, Zenon Block E performances, Balls Cabaret, and the Minnesota Fringe Festival, where she received an encore performance for Forks!, created with Shorn Sheep Productions. Laura teaches dance and theatre for the Northfield Arts Guild and Metro Academy of Dance Education, and holds a degree in Theatre from St. Olaf College.
