I did this piece originally to be my kitchen backsplash in our new house. We live about 8 blocks from the falls, so I thought it would be quite appropriate. I don't know if it will hang there, but perhaps! This was my first large mosaic. If I were to do it over, I would know how much glass to buy! I would have invested in more blue.

I am excited to get working in this medium this summer. Fortunately, I live down the street from a great stained glass shop. I think I might re-try Minnehaha Falls, or perhaps a different Minneapolis landscape now that I live in (and appreciate) the thick of Minneapolis.
