At his opening in NYC. I wanted to do a 'Chuck Close'- style portrait of Chuck Close. Should be blown up really big. Weird lighting. Weird glasses. Weird whiskers. Nice guy.

At his opening on the Upper East Side. Kind of shy. One of my heroes. Lauren Hutton was also there, and a girl that worked there that a had a camera just like mine.

Singing at Herberger's, Rosedale mall. Just before she got real famous. Amazing crowd of teenage fashionistas, me almost the only guy. Too bad she's eating the microphone.

At his opening in NYC. Asked him if I could take his picture, then he freaked out when I stuck my camera in his face (worried about wrinkles). Asked him if he had come up from Baltimore, he said he had a place in NY (duh).
