Performance Diagram - Soundstation Antarctica
An amplified block of ice is transduced through the vibrations of tension instruments and the natural melting system. This was a commission for the 10th anniversary of the Dutch intermedia group Antarctica (Mario van Horrik, Petra Dubach, Mark Stijl and Leon van Nordeen) at Activiteecentrum 2b in Eindhoven, Holland.
Phill Niblock liked it a lot.
