Statement

This piece is one of a sculptural necklace series, created through improvisational beadweaving. Much of my visual work strives to capture motion in stillness, celebrating the body's continual dance with energy. The figures, worn around the neck, are suspended high above the ground at a perilous height. The piece is about the struggle to maintain equilibrium while taking a risk, it's about a cycle of falling and grace.
