– Reverie, role reversal, and mischief may spark a fire in A Quiet Storm, a series of dance pieces about relationships and our weathered journeys through life cycles.

The Christopher Watson Dance Company (CWDC) will perform A Quiet Storm in the Spirit in the House Festival. Performances are Sunday, May 25 at 4 pm and 7 pm and Tuesday, May 27 at 7 pm. at

The cast of A Quiet Storm is: Megan Bridges, Bryan Gerber, Sarah LaRose-Holland, Christopher Watson and guest artist Nicole Grandstrand.

Spirit in the House is a ten-day festival of theatre and performing arts dedicated to exploring spirituality, ethics and ethnic work that comes from a wide range of spiritual and/or religious traditions. Spirit In The House will feature 32 productions -- dance, storytelling, theatre, spoken word, poetry, music and readings -- each with show times on a rotating schedule. The festival is a chance for the community to engage in an inter-faith dialogue in a safe setting.

CWDC offers high quality, meaningful dance experiences to people of all ages through training, audience education, and performance. The company has performed at numerous venues in the Twin Cities and throughout the Midwest for the past 14 years, and prior to that in northern California, where CWDC was established. CWDC has earned funding from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Commission, Minneapolis Arts Commission, COMPAS and United Arts, as well as the 3M Award for Innovation in the Arts. Funds for this activity are provided by the IBM Corporation Matching Gift Program. Additional support is provided by individual donors to the Christopher Watson Dance Company.
