Concrete, Red Oak, Mild steel, Poly fiber rope
Concrete, Red Oak, Mild steel, Poly fiber rope
My idea for this work was to create the illusion of a material being able to hold more weight than it physicaly should... Honestly, it shouldnt have either. The concrete weight that is suspended from the oak armature ended up weighing almost 140 lbs. more than it was supposed to. A little support adjustment, and it worked out fine.
Lesson learned?.... Obtain & calculate actual material weight lest your project crushes you by accident..
