Recently, I began exploring the non-representational end of the art spectrum. In terms of my work and method, this new endeavor has opened my mind and allowed me to focus on color, shape, balance, and texture more than ever before.
What I enjoy most about painting is the literal act of it and the communication of visual elements with out having to worry about making an object look "right".
In my most recent works, I have been portraying feelings/reactions and states of being through abstraction.
