Statement

I was a fervent bird watcher as a child. Seeing a red-winged blackbird was a rare joy in the northeast. But in Minnesota they are abundant, along with dozens of other beautiful and interesting species. Most prominent are the Geese, whose regality and habits I study for hours at Lake Toqua and Lake Hattie.
