How does someone left on a doorstep at birth in South Korea end up raised in the bowels of deep southern conservative evangelical fundamentalism--only to come out as a queer liberal vagabond artist? What is the timeline of one's life? Where are the points of intersection? What is the sound of memory? Are we a result of choices, ancestor's dreams, environment, or the future beckoning to us in the present? timeline autobiographia: everything that is... is Kim Thompson's intentional exploration of a series of questions that revolve around one core question--HOW did I end up like this? Via soundscape, visual imagery, spoken word and movement, Thompson will offer her life up on stage. She is working under the direction of Bessie Award-winning artist, Laurie Carlos.
