This series of work involves the construction of sci-fi inspired suits for Canadian expatriates living in the United States. Built from the collective imagination, these suits evoke stereotypes, historical models and popular culture references, creating metaphors for cultural displacement and the complexities of exchange across borders. The suits were activated in fictional scenarios and real public spaces via photographs and prints, utilizing intervention as a strategy.
