This is the finished lifecast of Ava. Being my first try, it was a bit time consuming to fix some of the mistakes I made. A friend let me cast her near the end of her pregnancy and loved the initial plaster pour. There were a lot of flaws made during the plaster bandage step (some pushed against the alginate while it was drying and left some indentations). After a lot of work, I feel the end result was worth it.
I also looked for a nice bronze color which was hard to find but came across an antique brass color that worked well.
