I composed the original score for the stage musical of C.S. Lewis’s “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.” The world premiere was produced on stage at Northwestern College, 8 performances in the Totino Fine Arts Center. I wrote 17 tunes for the show, composing and arranging all of the music and also writing the lyrics.
ADVENTURE'S THE LIFE FOR ME opens the second act and is reprised near the end of the musical when the crew is about to leave their adventures behind and go their separate ways.
The solos are sung by REEPICHEEP (the valiant mouse), RYNELF (shipmate), LUCY, EUSTACE and joined by the cast (SAILORS) on the Dawn Treader.

There are two things you should bring:
With a sword in hand and courage in heart,

And sail on an ocean breeze.
You can battle a gale and a serpent’s tail
And conquer the seven seas!
