This piece was completed after studying Pablo Picasso. This palette is very minimal, with only alizaron crimson, ultramarine blue and black at my disposal.I used water-soluable oils, which is a balance between the texture of oil paint and the translucency of water color. I also used black straight from the tube rather than mixing it myself to stay true to Picasso's original palette.
