This necklace was a collaborative design between my friend Carrie and myself for her wedding present. It's a combination of sterling silver chain and findings, freshwater and cultured pearls and a slice of shell.

A friend of a friend lost her Great Aunt last year. The Great Aunt had a winter home in Hawaii where she would go every year and collect shells. There were so many shell to distribute after her death that some of them even found me. This is what I did with one.

The pretty girl in the picture is my dear sister, Stephanie.
