Statement

Le parkour, a sport-like activity that started in France requires the traceur (practitioner of le parkour) to overcome any object or obstacle in their path in order to reach their destination most efficiently. As a traceur myself, I wanted to capture the figure bounding over an object and melding with his environment. It is black and white photography without manipulation taken in the fall of 2006.
