A new attempt at the Body Portrait Series. I've found that if I dial back the abstraction a bit, the image turns out much better.
To explain the process, I take a series of nude photographs of a model. All different angles, directions, and distances, from extreme close ups to abstractions and harsh angles. These become the paints and canvas for me. I then use these images of the model's body to create an abstract portrait, by layering the nude images repeatedly in different ways, until a final image is created which reflects the models personality, quirks, and soul.
