In the fall of 2003 I spent a weekend in Duluth with other members of the Lakes Area Pastel Society, on a "paintout". The autumn colors were spectacular and there was no hint of wind at this little lake above the city, close by the Univ. of Minn. campus. One of those dreamy, perfect afternoons where you loose track of what is real and what is reflection after awhie, it is all so lovely......
