As i segue into my last years - I find myself returning to the twin
themes of loneliness and longing. This is a self-portrait drawn upon my
ties to the sea through my father's side of my family. I can't swim.
I'm petrified of water. Curiously - my first career goal was to become
the next Jacques Cousteau. Now - I long to sail away - to where - I
have no conscious idea. However - my focus remains on the horizon - and
what's ahead for me - just beyond its edge.
