This work is part of the "Dead Deer" series. It is linked to the perils of humanity and scheduled events during a time of war. With using american imagery to depict an event that was an exodous from religious peril I hope to signify the roots of this country and the current state of war we are living in. Our oppression had transfigured itself into a new form on Thanksgiving.
