FUEGO is the inspired flamenco duo of dancer Colette Illarde and guitarist
S. Mateo Davies, who in recent years, have sparked a growing interest in this art form by their performances at numerous venues around town. FUEGO’s new heartfelt work Corazon Flamenco opens Saturday, August 4th and promises to be their hottest performance to date!

Spain provides the best learning environment for the serious flamenco artist. Thanks to a generous grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, FUEGO Flamenco traveled once again to Spain earlier this year to study with many of the world’s most renowned flamenco artists. While abroad, Corazon Flamenco was conceived and this new work reflects the inspiration and spirit entrenched in flamenco’s birthplace.
