Just as Sunny's Bar (adjacent
to the Shoebox Gallery) has closed after 20+ years Rochelle Woldorsky brings
her 30+ years worth of photographs of Phillips neighborhood houses. While clues
of both gentrification and a troubled economy may be read in their facades,
like us -they are individual structures. Reading their character is a
decrypting of many things: weather, politics, longevity -personality. Her show is up until Feb 9, 2011.
